Midi Studio Knit Surplice Wrap Dress

Great style - great compliments! I bought the gray-swirl print and receive compliments every time I wear it. Sleeve length is flattering, as is the wrap styling. The pockets are deep and useful, and the drape moves beautifully. Two criticisms: 1) the fabric weight is too heavy for a humid location and 2) the inside is white, which isn’t a color featured in the pattern.

I bought this for a celebration of life event and it was the perfect dress. Love 3/4 sleeves, pockets and the faux wrap is better for me so I don’t have to worry about skirt opening up. I did buy a 2.5 inch black belt to add some definition vs use the belt that came with it. It’s a nice versatile pattern, doesn’t swallow you up. I’m 5’4” and a size 1. True to size, I prob could have sized down but it’s very true to size.

I was genuinely blown away when I tried this on. I picked it up expecting not to like the fit because all they had was size 00 & I'm usually size 0-1 .... but wow does this dress hug & flow in all thw right places. There's nothing bad about it, from the fit, to the material, it feels sexy while still providing great coverage & comfortability. Needless to say I had to scoop it, I fell in love w/it & was amazed that even sizing down, the stretch was so good it fit just right.

I'm so happy I bought this dress; it's flattering in all the right places and drapes nicely. I actually like that it's not a true wrap dress (faux wrap), because there are no chances for wardrobe malfunctions. And bonus: pockets!!! Hidden nicely in the side seams.

I bought this dress for Easter and LOVE IT! I purchase often from Torrid and it is one of my favorite buys ever. It's very comfortable and flattering. (Arms are long enough, has pockets, lays nicely, etc.) Plus, it's easy to pack and doesn't wrinkle (as I took it to a work conference recently.) I did pair it with a black belt instead of the tie it comes with. Plus, every time I wear it, I get compliments on it! Highly recommend.

I love 💕 this dress. When I saw the Berry color I had to have it. Not disappointed at all 😁. It is not a true full wrap dress but I think that is for the best. I do not have much of a bust but the neckline still looks great.

I love this wrap dress, and got it in two different prints. What can I say, these are always a go-to style of dress for me, as it's so figure flattering. Structured/fitted in all the right places, forgiving in the others. Enhances your girls without being too revealing, and that's coming from me with a 38G bra size, you can adjust the fit slightly to be more or less revealing without too much effort. I'm usually between size 0 and 1 but have been closer to 1 lately so I went with that and these fit perfect. Length was great for me at 5'9", not too short or long, still able to show a little leg without being too revealing. Note that this is technically a faux wrap style, not a true wrap style, so you're not going to be worried about a breeze blowing everything wide open. It's a knit with a bit of weight to it, yet it's not too warm - as someone who can easily run too warm I wore this on an early April spring day in Florida with temps in the 70s without feeling too hot. I'd say this is a good dress for all four seasons (depending on the print you choose) if your summers aren't too hot and humid, otherwise a versatile three-season dress. I've worn it with or without leggings/tights and great either way. I've only worn to social events so far but it'd work for the office as well, dress up or down.

I can’t miss with Torrid dresses. I purchased this dress for my son’s baptism and it was everything I expected and more. Great quality Fabric is a great weight and feel. Looks even better in person. I was worried that the print would be too busy, but it was just perfect. If you’re on the fence, use this review as your sign to get this dress!

I bought this for a party and most of my dresses are bright colors so needed something a little darker. I love the marbling pattern and the dress is cut in a way that is very flattering to my curves but skims my tummy area which is where I carry my weight.
